Challenge
Batiste is a leadership consultancy based in upstate New York, known for its ability to inspire change in leaders and teams. The team of Rochesterians, who thrive on the freedom and adventure found in their natural surroundings, sought a brand that could grow alongside its clients. They wanted a brand that reflected both the unique value they deliver—through strategic planning, team building, and leadership development—and the approachable, down-to-earth personality of its founders.
Solution
To create a brand that supports natural growth, we designed a refined mark featuring the letter 'B' and a bird, symbolizing progress and subtly suggesting a way forward. The color palette was inspired by the natural beauty of upstate New York: the blue of the Rochester waterfalls, the green of the Adirondack Mountains, and the orange of fall’s turning leaves. These bright, positive colors help ground the brand, instantly putting people at ease.
