Challenge
Interlude is a creative space in Hackney designed for photographers, artists, and production companies, offering a neutral setting for shoots, exhibitions, talks, and workshops. With its opening approaching, it needed a brand and website that clearly reflected its role as a flexible, welcoming environment for creatives—all within a tight deadline.
Solution
Collaborating with Emanuele Ricci, who brought me onto the project, I contributed to the development of the logo, drawing inspiration from the space’s vaulted ceiling, and helped set the visual direction. We paired sharp, elegant typography with softer tones that reflect the studio’s interior, creating a balance between professionalism and a relaxed atmosphere. Once the strategy, messaging, and brand guidelines were established, a clean, minimal website was designed for easy navigation, with professional photography showcasing the space and its equipment—all completed in time for the grand opening. The result is a cohesive brand and digital presence as flexible and inspiring as the physical studio.
